Vanessa Hudgens will co-host Countdown to the Oscars, which is the official lead-up to the 95th Academy Awards, for the second year in a row. This year, her co-hosts will be Lilly Singh and Ashley Graham. ABC will show Countdown to the Oscars on Sunday, March 12 at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT.
The finalists, hosts, and singers will all perform during the 90-minute show. Backstage will be covered by content director Reece Feldman, and the Academy members watching the party in New York City will be covered by Rocsi Diaz. Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner are the show’s executive producers and showrunners. David Chamberlin and Michael Antinoro are also executive producers of the show.
Last year, Hudgens’ co-hosts were Terrence J, Brandon Maxwell, and Sofia Carson. This year, Carson will do an act on the show. She and Diane Warren will sing “Applause,” a song from Warren’s Tell It Like a Woman that was nominated.
V and Identified are two of Hudgens’s songs that are in the top 30 on the Billboard 200. As a part of the casts of High School Musical and High School Musical 2, she also had two songs in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.
ABC News will show On the Red Carpet Live: Countdown to Oscars 95 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. PT/10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET as a lead-in to the official pre-show. The pre-show video will also be shown on ABC News Live, starting at 1:30 p.m. ET/10:30 a.m. PT and going on all day until the start of the 95th Academy Awards.
Linsey Davis and Whit Johnson will lead the red-carpet show at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The show will include interviews with Oscar nominees. Kelley Carter, who writes for ABC News and is a senior entertainment writer for ESPN, Chris Connelly, Elizabeth Wagmeister and Clayton Davis of Variety, and Joe Zee, who is a star stylist, will all be there.

The 95th Academy Awards will be held at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood on Sunday, March 12. They will be shown live on ABC and in more than 200 other countries.
